So what's next?

So Bonesaw: The Game, version 1.1, is out on the internet with some small fixes (and one sort of major one that broke the game just a little bit.) If you havent gotten that version yet, go ahead and download it from my site: http://www.kylepulver.com/bonesaw

It looks like things are going pretty well. I think the combat system and the game itself turned out to be a little harder than most players expected, so some people are turned off by that mostly, so I'm going to look into to any potential changes I can make there-- but don't get too excited because the combat is pretty deeply coded into the game engine, across 200 frames... oh boy.

I'm going to continue to work on Bonesaw a little bit, to get some fixes and patches out for some of the things that I overlooked. I had to release it before GDC though, that was my goal, and I did. I even met some people there that had played, or just heard of my game, and that was pretty awesome.

I have a lot planned for some more games, a couple of group projects with some friends of mine and one that I might end up doing solo (another freeware title most likely.) The solo project will most likely be another epic 2d platformer game, but that's all I'll say for now.

Oh and I played Noitu Love 2 at the IGF pavillion at GDC... holy crap, it is awesome. I wish I could be a master at pixel art and MMF2 like Konjak. ;D

And why can't you be? Bonesaw already has good graphics and coding, you're on your way there

yeah but Konjak is just like... daaamnnnn

yeah but at one point he was at your standard, and that wasn't so long ago. I mean, Noitu Love 2 looks amazing, but if you study the original nowadays, I'm sure you could manage a lot of the graphics in that game. Konjak's obviously already improved in that time
