Only a few levels left
Posted 12th Aug 08, by Johnny Look
I've been working on this year for 2 years now, but it's almost done !
Only a few levels left and my swan's song is ready for release.
It will not be my last game, but it will be my last klik game, and most likely my last freeware game.

So what are you planning to program with for your next game then? Looks very very good by the way

I remember when you released the demo for this. I liked it then. Never give up on freeware mate, there are still other ways to make money. I don't say that you shouldn't make some comersial stuff though, just don't look at comersial aplications as a higher form of software than freeware. Much of the best quality stuff today is freeware.

Martin: lol wut ?
Mark: I'll use Blitz3D, I submited a game I made with it sometime ago and it even made the frontpage.
Thanks btw !
Zezard: I'm not going commercial for the money, it's a bit more complicated than that. When you're working hard on a game, you'll reach the point you ask yourself "why am I still doing this ?" by saying to yourself you're going to sell it, you get extra motivation, even if you're aware you're not going to get big bucks, it's just that, motivation. However I do agree that freeware is nowhere worse than shareware or any other source of commercials apps, and I still might release small freeware games along the way, but I'll surely not take 2 years like I took for Little Ghost Joe .

If I was old enough I would set up a donation button, but I think it's mighty presumptuous to think hat people should pay money for my games.

Freeware just seems right to me >_>.

Donations are out of question for me, it would be like playing music in the street asking for spare change instead of a having a band getting paid to play at a half decent venue.

Ok, what is going on here? You said this would be your last Klik game. On the Atrox project page you said it was "definitely not dead" but that you were spending time on other projects - other projects being this game and Doomination. So either you have plans to continue Atrox and Doomination in another language or you may be hinting at... letting Atrox die... noooooooo!
This game does look good though
