New game: To Air is Human
News posted 5th August, 2026 by Joshtek

A fun pun for an interesting concept, we have Play Journal brings us To Air is Human alongside a video on how the game was made and a bit of a whistle stop history of Click. You go up and down to catch the air currents currently going right, avoid obstacles. I did not get a perfect score.

Comments from the Creator:
"After watching a video about how hot air balloons navigate, I thought it would be fun to make a game out of it. The player can only move up and down. To move side to side, the player must enter an air stream that is going where they want to go. The goal of the game is to safely navigate your hot air balloon to the landing site of each level to the east. You are penalized if your balloon is damaged, or late. Try to get a perfect score of 100. I did... Once. If you complete all five levels, you will unlock an extra mode."

Fun video it's inspiring. Your game when you play it seems so easy. When I tried the game I found it challanging. Keep up the good work!

@LordHannu

That classic feeling of "If I'm good at my own game, then everyone else should be good at it too!" until you realize people find your game hard. Learned that the hard way... cough... cough... Ninja Force... cough...

Thank you for the video, and thanks for providing useful commentary as well as resources for Clickteam tutorials. Interesting to see that the video was released before the game got released on this site. I totally understand the frustration in getting the perfect score; the entire game is dependent on RNG which means you might not lock in to the same run every time you play all five levels. I also noticed you got to use the top air current that plays a different air blowing sound-effect. I'm interested in knowing for how long you're allowed to use it to cheese some parts of the levels, for instance avoiding the mountains as presented in the video. Once again, thank you for making this game and I hope to see more from you!
