Vincere Totus Astrum now available on Facebook!

Acclaimed by the klik community as the first Turn-Based Strategy klik game to ever be released on the iPhone, Vincere Totus Astrum has made quite a name for itself. And yet, those of us without an iPhone or other such iDevice have been missing out. Well, no longer! Gamesare Studios have released a downgraded version of the game as a Facebook app for the masses to enjoy.

This version of the game only sports two of the five playable races along with a Quick Battle mode, so it's definitely not as shiny as the iPhone version. Nevertheless, it's a good opportunity to try it out if you've been thinking about buying it.

Speaking of iPhone, the results of our latest poll have been tallied, and the majority of you would definitely be interested in an iPhone/iPad runtime. Let's all give a collective wink-wink nudge-nudge to Clickteam's coding gurus, eh? ^_~

Strife it's TBS (Turn Based Stategy, more precisely 4x) and not RTS (Real Time Strategy).

I'm sure some of us would love to as well. But not all of us own a Mac to be able to submit something to the app store.

Ummm... the video looks cool but I can't get it to play. Firstly it takes an age to load and then once it has loaded there is only a black square where I'm assuming the game should be.

The links to the Game Share website and the YouTube video seem to work just fine though.

I went to the new link, and it loaded much faster and I actually got to play it a little. However the mochi login/register thing obscured part of the game screen, witch obscured many of the names. It was particularly annoying in the shipyard because all the symbols for the ships look very similar.

I also had very little idea of what I was supposed to be doing. You research a colony ship and I think I built one but then I couldn't seem to do anything else like move it to another planet for colonization.
