News posted 10th June, 2010 by Rikus
ScaryPotato has released a beta of his game Adventure Apes and the Mayan Mystery. The game is a mix of platforming with some puzzle twists to it!

However the great news about this is, that he recently got a offer to make the game for the Nintendo DSI! We wish him the best of luck and cant wait what will come out of it. For now check out the beta test version right here! Also be sure to check out his personal blog with much more info, new pictures and videos!

Also a quick thank you to Chris Street for the spiffy new intro logo for the quick videos. Thanks mate!

Congrats for Potato! He was asked even when the game was unreleased? wow.

The game reminded me of Cave Story but with a standard mayan puzzle theme. Good thing it has monkeys with guns in it

You know, I'm really starting to like all of the recent activity on the front page. Really makes this place feel more alive.

That's so awesome he's getting to make it on the DSI! =O That's probably the system I would pick if I were to export FQ, since the touchscreen would mean that I wouldn't have to rework the mouse-based controls.

I don't know... it looks kinda generic. It also sort of reminds me of Alex Kidd, for some reason.

None the less, huge congrats to ScaryPotato!
