Two News Nuggets
News posted 5th March, 2006 by The Chris Street
I have been reliably informed by Clickteam that MMF2 Professional has been renamed to the new name of MMF2 Developer. Additionally, it's highly likely that the estimated release will be towards the end of March!!!!, and prices will be in the same range as existing products. And, if you didn't know, TGF and TGF Pro will be replaced by The Games Factory Version 2.

Second bit of news: Expect the competition results up very soon indeed. A couple of days, most likely.

Whoever wins the christmas combo will not get anything 'cause MMF2 Pro doesn't exist! Did you plan that ? Anyway, I can't wait to get m' hands on a copy o' MMF2 , i don't think i can afford the Pro version tho .

I should mention here that I got a DC-Mail from Linkman a month ago saying the same thing, but I didn't believe him! So sorry about that, Linkman.

Sorry to be a complete n00b, but can you import MMF1.5 projects to MMF2? I'm guessing you can, but want to make sure because that's a chunk of change considering I spent $100 on MMF1.5 a few months ago.

Yes you can, but initially not every single extention will be converted, so you'll have to be careful if your project uses loads of extentions that aren't compatible.

Developer eh? Have to say it sounds a lot nicer.

Can't wait to finally see those contest results

Now I just need to find out how the hell I am going to come up with $100 within the next month. I seriously want to get MMF2, but I might not have it for a few months or longer.

Sugoi desu!

Damn it, now I don't know what to save money for. A new graphics card, manga/anime goodies, or MMF2!

may I ask who's the source of the news? why isn't anything mentioned at the clickteam forums?

Posted by Silveraura 5th March, 2006
