Two 48-Hour Games
News posted 14th November, 2005 by David Newton (DavidN)
A couple of 48-hour games have been submitted recently. The first is Joe's 48-hour Quest, an adventure game by Agggggge. I've always been meaning to ask him about the meaning of his frankly excessive username.

Comments from the Author: Shamelessly, I release this stupid little game on the public. Yes, this is what this weird person, Me, can make in 48 hours.

The second download (but actually the first submitted, to keep the front page in a nice chronological order) is a selection of minigames - Colors II by Peblo - and was written in just over 24 hours. It features a soundtrack of DDR MIDIs, as if it wasn't great enough already.

Comments from the Author: The Colors II is 6 minigames (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple) fit in a 800x200 window, and they all have different gameplay. Some of them require keyboard reflexes, some require drawing skills, and some require careful planning.

Sharing a newspost with such a cool guy makes you (almost) just as cool.

I'm going to go and do something impulsive now.
