New Online Game: Mathematicus Online
News posted 26th October, 2004 by David Newton (DavidN)
X_Sheep, who has always been quite a master at innovative game concepts if you ask me, has put Mathematicus online, a game where you have to manically fling tiles in to a grid depending on the sum of the numbers on each side of the space you're trying to put it in to. As you can imagine, I'm quite comically bad at it, so have a go and beat my pitiful score.
Comments from the Author:
The point of this puzzle/maths game is to inlay the playfield with numbered blocks. They can only be placed on the field when it matches the last number of the sum of the surrounding blocks.

I thought Assault Andy was meant to be doing most of the front page news ;)

Nice! But I think that's the second time you linked directly to a game instead of to the download page.

...But it _does_ link to the download page! The only time I intentionally didn't link to the download page was for the Click FAQ, because I didn't think it should be classified as a "download" on the site, being a document rather than an application or game.

Odd, it jumped straight to the game when I tried it first.
