News posted 23rd October, 2004 by The Chris Street
This weeks winner of GOTW goes to Robotron Blitz! Congrats to Jerry, who created this rather hard clone of that old classic.

This weeks entrants - Blobfort, Submarine Shoot, Something Black, Scurvy Sanchez, and Maze Creator 4. The last one is there because it's very innovative - even though it's a third sequel ;) Choose your vote well.

Eventful Moments Of This Past Week:

  • Cactus Bruce and the Corporate Monkeys. I've seen this game advertised everywhere this past week, be it at download.com or mentioned on the teletext pages of GameCentral in the UK. Could Steve, the game's creator, be the ultimate hype machine? ;)
  • My hard-drive decided to breathe its last on Friday - meaning I've lost a lot of work... my games, music - everything. Oh, happy times. It also explains my absence over the last couple of days
  • Assault Andy becoming the latest admin at TDC. Hope you'll welcome him and treat him with respect. Because he ain't a man to mess with...

Shit eh. Gotta hate when that happens. Happened to me a few years ago, lost most of the games I ever made. Sad days.

Its ironic, cos I was actually going to back everything up on Friday. But it blew before I had the chance... Oh well. At least I'm alive, eh.

It's a demo, or at least that's the impression one gets from nastyman's comments.
