Cretinous!
News posted 3rd May, 2003 by The Chris Street
I was looking through the submitted downloads section today, and found three entries. A Sonic fan game, seemingly, and some other game. I would have been interested in the fan game, had the download actually worked. Subtle hint: Make sure you actually have a website to download from! I had to delete that.

There was another game too, which I had to get rid of. The download URL was from someones Personal Web Server (basically a site hosted by your own computer). Please, please, PLEASE check your download is actually on the internet! And please check the link actually works! No wonder I haven't been updating as much as I should. Well, rant over. Please just take care!

lol The other one is the screenshots: leave one line break - that's pressing the return key once - between each screenshot.

and just because pressing the space key wraps the URL in the screen shots field to the next line, it's not the same thing as a line break :) You need to actually press the enter key.

Maybe there should be a "Report this download" thing, where you select whats wrong (offensive content, bad description, no screenshot, invalid URL, contains virus, other) then you don't have to do anything ;)

Dont the admins check the game out before allowing the download to proceed past the "queue"?, so if the download link is broken the game wont even pass the first stage of testing (IE can the admin actually get hold of it XD)
