Hi. Over two yrs i've had MMF 1.5, I've made quite a few games. None of them yet submitted to this site. Two of my best were The Enchanted Forest (an interactive fiction game) and The Enchanted Forest 2 (a text adventure). I am currently working on something called When Good Worms Go Bad (a platformer). I have noticed a problem, with all 3 of these games and also, in fact with every, yes, EVERY MMF GAME I HAVE EVER MADE. I will work on a game for anytime from 1 hr to 3 hrs. Then I will save and quit. Then, I'll open the file again. Sometimes I'll open it 5 minutes later, sometimes a week later. VERY OFTEN, when I open the file, things will be missing. An event has changed here or there. An object is missing there or here. Sometimes the events look fine in the editor, but don't function correctly. WHAT IS THIS? Some please help me! PLEASE!

1) Save more often. You should save every few minutes. If your computer crashed, you could lose a lot of work! Saving every few minutes helps prevent this.
2) Put on Autobackup in preferences. This will make backups which you can restore to if something goes wrong.
3) Scan for viruses. Often, things going dodgy is a sign of a virus.

Make sure you have the latest build of MMF from clickteam. I used to have that problem, but it disappeared after I patched MMF.

I used to have that problem with CNC. It would change all of my sound names to "r" and play the wrong sounds at wrong times.
