I think Pete needs to draw big arrows pointing to the important part of pictures. It applies to news posts too, how do you think they're going to understand if you don't type "IRONY" in a size 20 font?

Ive got a similar problem with a half life mod.
international online soccer.

i got the latest version and the auto updater thingy too.
i cant join a game because it claims to be an outdated version,
then the auto updater opens and searches for a newer version,
then it says the version i have installed is the newest.

marvelous.

In the future viruses and this crap will be a lot harder to do...Thats because microsoft is going to put security right into the circuits...which will supposedly monitor it somehow..

I don't remember what I read or what it was about, all I do remember is hardware would play a big role in the future at cutting down on this crap.

What kind of nerd finds sexual pleasure in making a virus? I guess it's the uber dorks way of vandalism.

Lol, soon the internet will be roaming with bad folk gangstas that claim porn sites as there territory, and if you venture onto their turf, they'll cap yo hard drive!

DEC, I think you mean "Palladium", AKA "Next-Generation Secure Computing Base for Windows." - some old MS approved information is available at http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/features/2002/jul02/0724palladiumwp.asp

The last virus creator they caught was a young woman? So its not only a guy thing. However we can easily agree that both virus creators as well as hackers and spam deliveres all share an odd view on life. I mean, they all make software that we dont want but that they want to install on our computers without our consent.

That reminds me of those completely stupid Sex Toolbar programs. When they ask to install that and I click no I get a message with "Please, click Yes to install FREE software!" After having clicked No for 3 times it asks "FREE software not installed. Install now?" Apparently those suckers think I don't care what I'm installing, as long as it's free. And after having clicked No they still did not get my point. So they are smart and incredibly stupid at the same time

hmmm well I don't think I got that virus yet....

Oh and on a diffrent note, What is the best brand of taco sauce to bath in? You see we all know that bathing in tacho sauce has great advantages. It repels space monkeies, and if you add a bag of chips you have a party . But the problem you see is that a tub full of taco sauce would be expensive soooo what is the best brand? becuase having a tub full of crappy taco sauce would be a mess! Thanks for any help.

My brother recently bought a new AMD 64 comp with 1028 meg ddr ram, and 2 160 gig HDs, he got sasser the second he setup his internet connection, and when he tried to remove it, and when he did. The HD(s) were totally screwed, and he had to undergo a format almost right out of the box.... Its like blaster, with more side-effects.

Edit: He had 29 files which were infected.
