I don't know about you, but I'm sick of seeing crappy web pages in this day and age. Making stylish and accessible web pages is easy, and you don't need that piece of crap "dreamweaver" or other web building..things.. You need CSS!..and a prior/basic knowledge of HTML, which should only take about 5 minutes to learn
( http://www.echoecho.com for good guide ).
If enough people at these forums want to learn CSS, I'll post up a small tutorial, if not...well then..i wont.

don't speak ill of dreamweaver! for a start it does pretty much all the basic CSS stuff for you, and if that's not enough it supports CSS with syntax highlighting.

What about HQ9+? http://www.cliff.biffle.org/esoterica/hq9plus.html

XHTML wasn't created to be easier or simpler, but to be easier to parse.

Oh wow, the way I type HTML is nearly identical to XML. The only difference is I use uppercase for tags.

My opinion is that xhtml is generally better. html is so messy with it's SGML interface...

EDIT: and CSS is the best way (And the only, but that is the point, no messy html outfit attributes) to make your xhtml document outfit!!!
