Try this:

Create some horizontal and verticle lines.(colliders
Always: Position from player at #,#

Then move when the keyboard is pressed, and the colliders are not over anything.

wops, It didt work that well. I used repete while right key is pressed - set position 2,0 from player. And stuff like that. Should have worked, but it is just something strange with the movment, looks odd when he jumps. Anywho, back to the original question, how to make custom platform movments to TGF, really want a tutorial if possible.

JD what the hell are you on now? ANYWAY

willycle, your attitude is not the best one if you want to create a decent game. you should be prepared to put in a bit of work, read some things etc, rather than just ripping from a tutorial. you'll find it works better for you in the long run, as you'll understand what your events do and be able to modify them as appropriate.

#1 Question, have you ever made a game with TGF?
If not, then don't even think about trying a custom movement yet.

If you don't like all the values and variables being explained in the articles, then its really no use trying to learn how to make a custom movement. Most custom movements rely on such things to function. Learn the important X and Y axis before you start anything related to custom movements.
