This isnt meant to be a big sport post (you can go to a football forum for that) but wanted to say that I live in north carolina so the panthers are our team, and they lost! So mabye for the posts sake, what did you do for superbowl? As usual we had people over and food everywhere, home deep fried turkey and apple pies!

I worked for the first half, then came home and watched the 2nd in solitude. Yeah, not too exciting. I was rooting for the Panthers. They made a valiant effort, but sadly it wasn't quite enough.

I once saw bowling in television. A swedish guy versus two finnish guys. A finnish guy won. I really didn't think it was interesting anyway.

Sounds like it had it all. Partial nudity, result in the dying seconds...ummm...violence...
Sure i'm an Aussie and don't really follow the league, but those are the ingredients for a good game in any sport!

Celebrities are crazy! I bet 0 DC points that within 2 weeks, Justin Timberlake would be all over the news treated like Micheal Jackson.

The best part of the Superbowl was the commercials. I guess it's the only time of the year that the commercials are actually good.

gheez, american football annoys me. it's like a softcore version of rugby with padding and the players giving each other flowers and doing maypole dancing for the half time show. (can't you just sit on the terraces and eat a pie? why does there have to be a show? or is that baseball?)

the first american to explain to me why you call it "football" wins 5 DC points. you'll have to convince me pretty damn good, bearing in mind a) you can use your hands in it and b) you stole that name off us so you better have a good reason for this blatant plagerism.

I only watch the Super Bowl for the new commericals. I do find it funny to watch people get hideiously discombobulated in the game though, ! And its also fun to watch insane, mad freaks who fight over who one !
