How would one go about doing this ? i think i've read somewhere that ASP or PHP coding is necesary.. i also think i read something about a serverside ini file... help anyone ?

It uses perl (CGI) but it's easy to set up and use.

Server-side INI files are used with MOO2 and up, and aren't recommended for saving online high scores.

The best way is to use V-Cade Remote (www.v-cade.com), although it would mean upgrading to MMF. But that's a good idea in any case.

One method is to use a website that someone has coded a post script with PHP or ASP, then in you game you code moosock to send a POST command to the website posting the score. Most of the coding is on the website side.
