It all started last night around 1am while I was blitheringly drunk. "I want to watch Cowboy Bebop," I said, my roomate grabbed the DVD's off the shelf and was about to put them in the player when I made the announcement, "No, on the side of our apartment, I want to see it BIG." After grabbing the homemade projector, a TV, and the DVD player, we ventured outside and started hooking everything up. After couple of trips inside and out grabbing an assortment of things we needed food/booze/extension cable/etc. We set up and turned on the DVD player. Just as the intro finished we were bathed in fashing red and blue lights, we turned to look at the source of the light only to be blinded by a bigger, brighter white light. After my drunken Haze cleared for a moment, I realized it was the police. He made us get on the ground, and asked us what we were doing. The cut our responses off by saying that he had gotten a call that someone was breaking into an apartment, and stealing TV's and other items. After talking to him for a bit and showing him that the aparment was indeed ours, he let us up and said he wished we WERE breaking into someone's house because he was bored. We then suggested that he should sit down and watch an episode with us, considering he had nothing better to do, so he did, and we watched "Mushroom Samba", then he left, me and my roomate got cold from sitting outside for so long, and I went an passed out.

to be honest, I live in a ghetto, so the cops are there all the time anyway, I'm surprised they didn't try to tranq us, they did it to a 13 year old kid about 3 months back. But then again, I was already pretty will tranqued.
