Everyone loves the little pink guy right? He's been in alot of awesome games in the past(not so much in the present), and his show is without a doubt the best cartoon ever. So I made a fan game of his. My character can suck up his enemies and spit them right back out. But it only works on one enemie. This is quite strange because, the other enemies are exactly the same as far as movement and coding is concerned. The event works using object groups. So why arent all the group members participating. (all enemies are in the same group BTW!

Are you adding the "enemy" qualifier to every object you want to suck up?

mabye you should not use groups. ive had some troubles with them before.
i would use flags or alterable values.

Yep groups are really buggy in TGF and I have had some some strange things in MMF too...

Me either, I think MMF qualifiers work fine. But TGF is another story... I'm afraid you might be looking at tailoring object-specific events

MMF sometimes doesn't recognise qualifiers in the event editor when imported from TGF, and the qualifiers don't work if you have another limiter in the trigger that refers to animations.

And as for kirby, if all the enemies move the same, why not have them all as the same object, but transarent and overlaid with a sprite determined by an alterable value that also dictates ability?
