Hi!
I have a problem with winsock... A quite big problem, because I don't really know how to use it. I downloaded this MOO2 example from tigerworks.co.uk it's great. So how could I do that? So, how to connect to a server, sending and recieving messages, joinings and leavings and so on... How?

Well there is a difference between coding using the Winsock control, and the MOO2 object. I suggest getting MMF 1.5 and using the MooSock or MooGame object, as they're newer than MOO2.

Ok. Once again, I should upgrade.
But could anyone try to tell me how to do it?

what exactly do you want to do? sounds like you want a multiplayer game, and for simple ones, there is no real good reason to use winsock object

btw, you might be interested in getting the latest version of winsock, there was a nasty bug with hostname resolving in it

Yeah, It's a multiplayer online game, a quite simple bomberman game. I'll try DPlay.

Mooclick would be the best as the kamasutramaster said. Dplay means you have to play lan or know the person's IP or other information.

Well I've got click and create so mooclick wouldn't go on it. And it wouldn't mind if you need the opponents IP to play. Is there a good tutorial for DPlay out there somewhere?
