Requests are usually ignored, because it just eventually winds the admin up. The admins pick games submitted by people...it's partially random, and partly based on a games aspect (ie, great graphics, or gameplay, or both)

if everyone sent us stuff they wanted on the front page, then we wouldn't be able to do it all, would we? if you want to post news yourself, you can put it in the relevant section of the forums, as long as it's not spam.
