Sup dudes??
I've been working hard on my new platform/horror game, Creatures, but I need some opinions on what you guys think. Lemme give yall some history on it.
The game started out as Demons 'n Devils, a game loosly based off Super GHouls 'n Ghosts. But it never made the final cut. Then it formed into Castle Myer, but the game was so bugg ridden and annoying I don't think I'll go back to it. Now we have Creatures! It plays a bit like Hell Creatures & Rotten Corpse, but trust me, I am in no way trying to mirror Stain's game and I have been wokring on this for a long time now!
As for the game, it has many awesome features that make it diffrent from most game is the same genre.
*Hand Drawn graphics, which are colored in Paint Shop Pro/ Paint
*Item System that lets you equip items and use them any time, like potions and shields.
*Unique Weapon system allows you to equip two weapon at once.
*14 usable weapons, all differ greatly from one another
*Weather effects such as lightning, wind and rain
*Weapons affected by weather, small, light weapons are thrown back by wind, heavy ones pushed downwards
*7 diffrent enemy types, such as Armor, Ghost, Flesh, Skeleton and Flying.
*HUGE bosses!
*uses the DMC2 object play mp3's, midis, ect.
The game has a vary compeLx engine, so I want to what everyone thinks before i get much further in it! (And yes, all the above are already implied in the game! No empty promises!)
nice screenshots mate! however it may just be the quality of the screenshots, but you can kinda see a white outline around the imported images? apart from that it looks like a great game, limp

Indeed, it does look nice, but as paul said, do a better menu system, and maybe it is just the image, but if it isnt, get rid of them white outlines...

Damn, thanks guys. Yes...that white outline does show not that yall mention it. Damn blur effects...
Anyways, thanks for the comments. To answer your question Vivi, the game's engine is done (whihc took 2 weeks) but I haven't made any levels yet, just animated a few enemies and the first boss. ery time consuming!
