Yo! I haven't tryed it yet, but I want to have secret codes in my game, and one is unlocked if you die a certain way a few times. I want to make this "death counter" that counts the number of times you've died so the code wil eventually be unlocked. But, when thinking about this, if the layer presses F2, then all the counters will be reset, right? Should I rid of the F2 thing to go about doing this?

Death in the air
Strapped in the electric chair
This can't be happening to me
Who made you God to say
"I'll take your life from you!!"

You'll need to save it somewhere, use a save object such as the save game object or the ini. I wrote an article on inis if you want to check that out.
