why oh why is almost every bad game met with posts damning it to hell for being bad.

what do you expect? these people don't know that some are expecting a near commercial quality game every time and lets face it thats not going to happen.

what most of us want is for the flamers to shut the hell up because your posts are worse than the games you're posting about.

I agree. I would expect a game to be bug-free once realeased though...unless it was released as a beta, alpha, or demo.

Agreed. With all games, even bad ones made by experienced people. Just rate it thumbs down if you don't like and don't have any constructive criticism.

I think people who are too stupid to give the author some constructive criticism should not vote thumb down, they should just leave the community and get wasted.

Well instead of criticism, why don't people help such guys?

Those 'kiddies' may listen and perhaps create something better in the future.

But no, most people think it's easier to say it's bad.
And that's a shame!

It isn't helping the click-community, with new games,
just scarying the newbies away.
Or some newbies just bash through the criticism,
they are there too.

But can't we give them some help?
(But hey it's just called social,
it can solve a lot of problems)

I've said it once when i was half drunk, and I'll say it half drunk now...

"Constructive criticism is the key.

Yes, criticism should be made, but at the least you should offer justification of why you have made the criticism, and try to make suggestions on how it could be improved.
People should learn from their mistakes, and this is a way they can hear you true oppinion, but also get suggestions from experienced individuals who have been in that position many times before.

This is how we'll see people knowing where they went wrong, know what they can do to fix it, and if people are kind enough, get experienced help to correct this.
