My game was fine yesterday…and now it crashes, even when you just want to edit it. Luckily I have backups but that was before I added a load of new stuff, fixed bugs etc, and now I have to do it all again just because TGF decided to be a *insert rude word here*.

I’M SOOOOO PISSED OFF! ARRGRGHH!

That happened to me before using K&P and TGF. Luckily, this doesn't seem to happen in MMF, and the corrupt games seem to be readable in MMF too. So get MMF, okay?

It was that Monsters of Mojenxa thing I did, which seemed to have pretty good comments so far and people wanting a full game...great! lol

Yeah, people have said in the past that games corrupted by TGF can still be opened in MMF. So you might want to consider upgrading (you can get great upgrade prices from TGF).

Seriously, TGF sucks even when it works, compared to MMF.

I guess. Thing is I didn't think I'd be using anything for much longer as I'm off to uni, except maybe in holidays so I'm not sure whether it's worth getting mmf?

However now I've realised it's not the game that's corrupted...it's tgf...I uninstalled..reinstalled...still crashes. And there is absolutely nothing I've done that would make it do that.

I'm blaming Bill gates and f**king Windows. Bring back DOS!

TGF is old, and that problem is fixed in MMf (i really want MMF, i tried the 30 day trial for it) and this problem annoys me too. My game called "Ratica" was going great until that problem. it had an intro movie and whenever it went to the main page it would crash. oh well

I don't get it tho. It's not the games, TGF has just stopped working even after reinstalling. Computers seriously suck sometimes.

I'm sorry for all your losses! Sound like some of you had it a lot worse!

With some common sense, regular saving,
on your 2nd hd or hd-partition (not the windows one)
making a cd-rw backup. If it does fit on a floppy-disk,
don't hesitate to backup it than to floppy-disk.

And yeah, tgf is a bit unstable, but i've found out
a little detail about that, games created with other
click-products, using the same dll's, often overwrites
the one in windows and than tgf crashes, happend to me
this day, by a game called desmodia...

Anywayz, tgf works fine for me,
altough mmf is better, but stupid interface,
in the next mmf version, you should be able to
choose between tgf layout and classic mmf layout,
make the upgrade to mmf from tgf a lot better.
