I can post a call-out for nominations in the coming days/weeks and then run a poll, but first I'd want some thoughts on how this should be run. Should we start with 2019, or start with 2018 or or an older year and work our way to 2019? Do people think it should be a "First Past The Post" system where all nominated games are put forward and the one with the most votes wins, or something like if no game gets more than half of the vote then the top two (or three?) games will go for a head-to-head run-off? Also, should those nominating a game be expected to say something in terms of why they personally think it should be GOTY, e.g. what they like about the game? Should nominations be public or private? Public nominations sound good to me. We can make a separate thread for it or do it in this thread. I nominate these two games from 2018: Bounce the Raccoon - https://www.create-games.com/download.asp?id=9219 A great platformer by Fifth. Makes great use of shaders and such and just an all around good game. Zone Runner: Portable - https://www.create-games.com/download.asp?id=9191 Now I do realize that the original release of this game was before 2018, but I still think it qualifies since a lot of effort went into making it run on mobile. It's a shame there isn't an iOS version, but it's still easy enough to run on an Andriod emulator. Collect the coins to progress and avoid the enemies! What more can be said. n/a
