What are some populated indie game development communities online? TDC is pretty much the only place I know of. I've heard of this so called "Tig Source" or whatever the cool kids are calling it, but do you get MMF people there?

I ask because I feel like I should start getting more involved in communities like that. Eventually I'll want to spread the word of my projects, and I don't want to be the guy/bot that just creates an account and spams the forum with his latest piece of work.

Know any good places?

A word of warning: It isn't as relaxed as The Daily Click. I tried submitting my game, and was daunted by the process. Take a look though.

Ive always struggled to move on from TDC...

Being in contact with like-minded indie dev peoples does actually really help me get on with making stuff.

That's a good point, Andy. TDC people have common ground, so it's a better creative fit, but TDC doesn't do much for spreading word about your project. That's okay though, because I don't think that is the purpose of TDC.
