Hey guys, this seems really dumb but on a game that i'm trying to bring back from the dead the midi files arent working, the wav files are though. The midi files a played from external files using an expression, so first I checked that the file paths were correct. But then, to test it I created a new level and did "At start of frame - play midi" by selecting the file from the browse menu, I ran it and the midi still wasn't comming through.

Rather confused, I haven't MMF'ed it up in a while so I thought maybe someone here would have an idea of what is wrong, like maybe an application setting..

Thanks for any answers

If you want, you can upload your midi files and I'll see if my MMF will play em.

Have you tried playing them in another program?

I have already tried them in other programs like winamp and media player. So I guessed it wasn't the midi files fault. Hmm, not sure. Here is the song im trying to play: http://zephni.com/music/hellyeah.mid

Works for me. This zip contains a mfa and exe. See if either of them work for you maybe?

*Downloads* Am I aloud to look through your MMF directory on your site or is that meant to be private?

It worked using yours. But I just realised that the midi was loaded in to the file. So somethings going wrong when I use "Play Muse File" rather than "Play Music" (which are files that are loaded in to the MMF file)

Confuse

This might be a dumb solution but is your SW Synth volume up enough? That's the channel that midis use on my computer at least.
