Hey there guys,
I'm an oldy in this community, but didn't really kept track of it for about 10 years or so. Some may remember me as Spaceface from the #K&P IRC channel 
Klik & Play used to be my introduction into making games, and now that I'm 29 and still make games, I get the opportunity to give kids an introduction into making games. I'm still till this very day heavily charmed by the low threshold Click products have, yet they give you the possibility to go really in depth. So therefore I'm looking into tools like this for the kids (they're around 13 years old).
I was wondering whether there is something like the Click products, but instead of it being an application I prefer them to use something browser based (so the tool needs to be browser based, not the end product). Is there something similar or just an easy game creation tool? I don't need it to be as in-depth as MMF can get, just so they can see what it's all about. Especially the fun side of it

But I have no idea if it's any good. I know a lot of schools use it though

I do occasionally check out TDC though! Nowadays do my spare time gamedevelopment in Unity3D. Love that package.

Scratch is a good call, as long as it's not too basic/childish (13 year olds are pretty smart aren't they? Especially anything to do with computers).
As for a browser-based tool, I'm not sure.
The only one I can think of is RocketPack, but that hasn't been released yet: http://rocketpack.fi/engine/
I'm vaguely recall Microsoft making one, but I think maybe it no longer exists or something.

Hey Sketchy, that looks awesome. Really reminds me of K&P/TGF/MMF back in the days. However it still seems to be in beta. Or did I overlook anything?
Looks a lot better than Scratch tho
