Hey!
Ive looked all over theForum, so forgive this if its a repeat, I have looked,

but in my current app/project, I need the users input on a frame to change the next frame,
ie I need the user to change teh skin of the application,
I figured I would use the Active picture, but it seems not able to do it without the file selector,

is there some way of getting a string into the file name with out the dialog box popping up asking for the file,

Kai.

Event that prompts new skin
Active picture object > "New picture"
"Expression".

And if you want to use the directory that the application is in, use this in the expression editor: Apppath$ + "Whatever.file"

kinda like an extra option on Directions when it offers Calculation,

Yippieeee, Thanks a million again.
