I have absolutely no knowledge of PHP, but was wondering if MMF could interact with it. I believe that facebook games hook into PHP and with the recent release of flash was wondering if something of that scale would be possible (pulling your facebook friends and somewhat interacting with them inside of the game). If anyone has played any facebook games such as Mafia wars or Farmville, you will probably know what I mean. A lot of the interactions seem very basic.

Yes,

use the "get object"

You can send a get request to a php script and retrieve the output.

So essentially you could create a facebook game with MMF2?

Is the get object in one of the extension packs?

Yes, it's been done before too, so it's very possible.

If I remember correctly, the live receiver object has been declared no longer supported... Get is the official one now, I think.

Here's a facebook example: http://www.create-games.com/download.asp?id=8024

http://www.clickteam.com/website/usa/tutorials The one called "Online Scores using PHP/mySQL" is a nice non-facebook PHP example to get you familiar with things.

I believe several people expressed interest in making a facebook connect tutorial. No clue if any were finished or started.

Thanks.

So it would most likely be possible to pull your friends list and use it in-game? (such as in mafia wars where you can invite/recruit your friends to help you in fights)
