For some reason MMF2 will die randomly when I click certain parts of the interface if it's on an external monitor. I can't figure out the pattern, so I can't avoid it! Has anyone else encountered this?

Nope, never had that happen. Can't even begin to imagine what the cause might be
I guess you should probably post a bug report on the clickteam forums, if you haven't already.

Mine is not on an external monitor but is on my laptop and occasionally disappears when i press ctrl-z in the event editor to undo a change!!

I think the only random problem i have with MMF2 at the moment would be how i can't adjust my volume if the MMF2 Window is up first...
