Whenever I make counters, they become invisible, even if I don't change any of their properties or have any events with them. I tried making a new frame, and they show perfectly there. So obviously theres something I did which does this. But I have no clue what in my code or settings that would do that.

Anyone got a clue what could make all counters invisible by accident, or is it just a bug in the program?

You could try unticking "Display as background".

I have tried that, and basically every combination of properties for the counter.

Did you change the counters images then? I've had this bug quite a few times where an active object disapears after editing one of it's animations. If it's the case, the only thing wich seem to solve the problem is flood-filling all the transparent zones with another color, closing the image editor, and then select that new color as the transparent one.

I guess it's worth a shot. The counters I need are just solid bars, but it doesn't matter if I create 100 new number counters, none of them show.

Strange indeed. Not accidentally placing them in a lower layer? I can't think of what else it could possibly be. O_o

If your frame scrolls, try checking "Follow the frame" on the counters. If it's off, it will stay in the same position (useful for HUDs) regardless of scrolling.

Yeah, follow the frame was the problem. The counters are placed pretty far away from the start window position, so I guess they just moved along with the player, like a hud only far away, thus invisible. Now it works. Thanks for the replies!
