There's a button at the top of your keyboard that either says "Print Screen" or "Prtsc" or something similar. Hit that button and paste the results into Microsoft Paint, and edit out whatever you don't want.

Holding down ALT and Print Screen takes a pic of just the open window of the game.

Or... if you having Vista or Windows 7 you can using the Snipping tool. You can find it under All Programs | Accessories.

Or if you set up an SLR camera on a tripod, set the capture format to RAW and take a white balance from a white spot on the display. Don't set the ISO too high otherwise you'd end up with too much noise. Open the aperture and wham bam thank you mam!

For the SLR I'd recommend one of the midrange Canons. The 50D is usually great for screenshots even with its stock lens.

I'm running Vista on my high end Laptop, i have to press and hold the FN key (bottom left) & the HOME-PRT-SC key (top right) to do a page print. On my old laptop i just had to press the page print key. It seems silly why page print isn't universal on all keyboards
