If so, how do you feel about the fact how professional games are typically a group effort with one group doing to art work, another the story line, another the sound etc.
We never said being "indie" was easy. However when everything is your own and its fully completed and polished to perfection, you get an amazing sense of joy that you completed a game and that its 100% yours.

Like I said in the other graphics/library discussion thread (kind of two threads with only slightly different discussions o__O), it's about consistency, and that game has really consistent graphics, maybe they aren't pixel Picasso masterpieces, but they look good and they look even better because they all fit with each other and don't clash. The consistency of the graphic work you do will improve the graphics as a whole many times over, in my opinion.
Oh, and if you think your graphics are bad, here's a tip: call them "retro". Works for everyone.
