I want to be able to save a AVI file through the mmf2 editor to the desktop. Problem is, I dont know the directory. I believe it's in the windows> (username)> Desktop.

Problem is the username is different for each computer I tried using the file object, but they didn't have the desktop directory...

Well the desktop can be in at least four different places depending on your Windows version. The Yet Another System Object (Might be under YASO) will get you the desktop directory.
