Okay, so today I have gotton bored, and decided to start to make a tile set for a side-scrolling RPG, or platformer.
So far, I have a couple of tiles, and think that they look pretty good.
But I have a question:
When I was done, I was thinking about putting them on TDC for people to download and use free for a game, or something similiar.
Then I started wondering, who would actually use them?
If you think you would, please post here.
I don't know if I should continue on this little project or not.
What do you guys think?
Here is a example of the tiles.
They are still pretty much WIP;

Looks good so far. Add some more tiles, ground variations etc and objects and it would be a killer resource for people in need of tiles. Why don't we have free tilesets resource or section of the site? That would be really helpful to newbies and look better than using premade library of MMF/TGF. Even if it was just a forum thread or project page for free game resources.
@OldManClayton: what what what? Like a code/example request?

I really like that set! It's cool
People would use them if you gave them out ONLY if it were a complete set with sprites etc - ready for a coder to make it into a game. People wouldn't be able to mix art styles easily and make it look good.
With slopes and pieces like that, look at the tilesets for the game "N+" or "N Plus", they use a lot of different slopes and tiles so you can make pretty cool levels with them. Like 3x1 slopes as well as little bits and pieces to make all the tiles fit fairly seamlessly.
