recently something has gone wrong with my pc, my monitor, mouse, keyboard and any other external device i plug in wont work, the computer powers on, and everything gets power, but they just dont work, my guess is its the motherboard, because i just recently replaced my cpu, but what do you guys think?

I once had that and it turned out to be a crack in the mother board so the mother is the speed limit indeed sometimes.

it could be a million different things, a loose screw trapped under the motherboard shorting something out springs to mind for some reason though! ... yeah i've had that happen loads of times you see.

It really could be anything, as has been said. Open 'er up and blow all the dust out, shake all the loose screws out (not literally) and reseat the CPU. If that doesn't work, it's either a bad mobo or power source, or your monitor isn't working. X)

The powersource could have borked. Happened to my computer like 3 times from dust when we started to renivate my house.

does the hard drive read?.... it could be as simple as the monitor cable being displaced!
