Hmm. I noticed that a lot of you aren't really interested in the community project. I want to know why. So, I made another survey.

Haha, I think we've already been over this--posting a survey isn't going to help. 
A) A lot of people have experience with group projects and don't want to bother.
B) A lot of people are to busy with their own projects and/or lives and can't.
C) Probably the interestingness of the actual game has to do with it. If it's not a project that people aren't interested in working on, it doesn't matter if it's a community effort or not, they won't want to work on it!
D) Apathy
I commend your effort to get it going though, and hope it does get more helpers.  I'm certainly interested in seeing how it turns out!
