a while back i was making a game using the pmo for the main characters movements, everything was going fine, until i made an enemy shoot a laser at me. when i started the frame, teh character wouldnt listen to control, he just floated upward very slowly and twitched. anyone know what caused this? i deleted the event, even redid all of the events, yet nothing, i deleted the pmo i was using and inserted another and the redid the events and still nothing, i had to restart my project because i had saved over it, and i had no backups because at the time i was retarded. anyone have any solutions?

The problem seemed like it would have to be something to do with the "Laser" events, if it worked fine, until that point.

The only thing I can think of is that you left the test for obstacle over lap condition by it self and did the object does over lap with background event.
