Agreed - I can't actually think of a bad game that they've made.
Half Life 2, Counter-Strike, Team Fortress 2 are all brilliant - and I can't stop playing the L4D demo, so I really can't wait for the full game
I managed to find the demo. It's pretty damn good, too short though like others have said, but I suppose they leave you wanting more.
The boss zombies are quite annoying, the Hunters, Smokers and Boomers weren't too much of a problem, but at one point I spooked a Witch then she proceeded to hack the shite out of me til I had about 3% health. The Tank zombie was a pain in the arse too.
One small negative point, I wasn't too impressed by the graphics. The characters looked fine, but I saw a lot of blurry textures on surfaces, even with everything bumped up to highest settings. The levels still looked pretty good though, since it's hectic a lot of the time you don't get much chance to notice low res textures. Some of the character animation is a bit stiff too. It didn't detract from the gameplay for me though.
I already pre-ordered the game last week, not on Steam though cos Amazon UK have it for a lot cheaper. I can't wait for it to be released now.

If you're bored and need more you can play any CSS map with the game on a priv server, or play as infected(Fun as hell messing with survivors and huntering around)
Just check the steam forums for new stuff, theres something else you can do with the ~console every day.
