That means that if someone uses an indirect link, whenever someone looks at that page, it counts as a download. I think there is something wrong with that. Could it (and view counters for articles and reviews) be counted only once for each IP address/account? Sandwich Time!Whoo! Like, if someone were to submit the Daily Click home page as the download link, then every time someone went to the home page it would count as a download. Also, the same person could download a game 100 times and it would count each time! Sandwich Time!Whoo! Cecilectomy noPE Registered 19/03/2005 Points 305	5th November, 2008 at 22:44:30 - Originally Posted by Clubsoft It only counts once per account, and only once per computer for unregistered users unless you just recently fixed this(last couple of months), its wrong. i cant seem to find the thread that i talked about it before, but, when you click the download button to a game youve already downloaded, the count does increase sometimes. i made the count for my own games and a few others go up a few times in a matter of a few minutes. edit: i just downloaded griffon legend 3 times and it went from 113 to 116. and i doubt 3 other people downlaoded within the 60 seconds it took me to download it 3 times, AND at exactly the same times i did. sometimes (most or all of the time actually) closing the browser is necessary to make it count.
