Anyone know how to code a good drawing engine using an active object as a brush?

I tried to make a drawing engine but it goes a bit shaky when you draw fast. Example: http://www.mediafire.com/?matmgnbz52m

Any help would be great!

Any suggestions for a different approach without an active object would also be great help!

Using MMF2.

If I were to make a drawing app I'd most likely use the overlay object.

I didn't look at your example, but if you are trying to draw by pasting into the background you can make it 'instantly draw' by using the move safely object. Just use the "On safety" condition at the top of whereever you start pasting. It's like running miniloops.
