Got a few problems with firefox... My little 'un enjoys hammering on the keyboard from time to time and sicne he last did this, Firefox has started being unreasonable.

2 porblems. One, the colour of links has changed to a random colour, varies for different websites, and they change back after I hover over them and leave them.

Two, Everytime I click anywhere on a webpage I am presented with the blinking text input bar thing... Next to images, in paragraphs etc. never used to just show up like that, kinda annoying.

Hope all that made sense. Any ideas?

Reset to default settings? Reinstall?

Well now there's your problem!

If you hadn't put the fox on fire to begin with it'd surely behaved better!

Seriously though, try Muz's idea!

How do you reset to default settings? I'd reinstall but dont want to lose the hoard of bookmarks I have. Can they be saved?

You can backup and restore bookmarks from Organise Bookmarks; Ctrl+Shift+B (In FireFox 3.x atleast)

Edit: Hmm, seems the old method no longer works to reset, so ignore
