hey there guys. i would like to create a water effect in a platform game, but i could not figure out how to do that.
i mean when you are underwater, the backgrounds and the active object are "dizzy", "fuzzy", "lampy", "wavy", "slured". i dont know how to say,

any help, tutorial, or suggestions?

Perspective object---> sinewaves---> Always set offset to offset of perspective +2

Or something like that

but i dont understand why just the edges of the perspective object are "wavy" :C

I got an effect like that for my game.

I noticed if you put the perspective object behind one active object but in front another they will still interact like they would if the since wave effect wasn't there. So it's best to make everything (bar perhaps the hud and score etc) behind the object so you don't fall off ledges thinking you were going to land on them.
