Hey guys, I'm new to this web site and it seems awesome. Lots of great information for Clickteam Product users. I'm not new to Click Team products by the way, I've been using The Games Factory Multimedia Fusion for about 7 years already. Going to try to make an RPG style Inventory Menu with auto-sort. I've done it before many years ago but then my PC died and I'll try to make one better than my previous. Its quite complicated and took me countless of hours to make it but required a lots of tedious, repeticious work so I'm glad its gone. My new style menu is going to be a drop down screen on the same frame but it doesn't mean it's going to be ON the same frame in Frame Editor. Miniaturized sup application if possible. Making a Data-base is the most important thing to create if we want Auto-sort. Spreadsheets are useful.

Okay, here's my question, is it just my internet security or do almost none of these tutorial download links not work? I was only able to download a few tutorials and luckily that fun RPG how-to by Phizzy worked. This site must have some awesome tutorials and I want to check them out! I'm pretty sure that the tutorials are still there because they work. No need to tease others who spend countless hours trying to learn shortcuts from other people. Oh well, might as well learn from the forum, its great too. I got to go to work. Please help.

The tutorials are probably down, because the people who made them no longer visit the site. You're out of luck with those tutorials, unless someone has them and will share them with you.

It would be very useful if somehow TDC took tutorials and open sourced downloads on to it's own server so that they would always be available to the public.

I'm not quite sure I get what you mean by "Auto-Sort" but I did something similar the other day, it really isn't that hard I used 4 string parsers and one text blitter for each item slot visible . It's limitation is that it "sorts" your items and doesn't add the newest at the top or bottom etc.

Any file submitted to The daily click is stored on a different server and really it's a bit hit and miss whether they're still up or not. Phizzy has most of his files on a sitesled account so they should be safe pretty much forever since it's a free account.

w00t! I just got 1 point!

Thanks everyone, you guys are awesome! How would you give other people points? Is it relevant to how must post we make? I'd give everyone who responded here one point.

I'm too late, almost all of these tutorial links are broken (;_
Some of these tutorials have only been out for 4 months and they still don't work?! That's crazy! Guess it can't be helped, not everyone can keep files on a server forever unless it's free. I'm still working on my webpage and I pay 15 bucks a month for serveral Gigabytes of space or something. Anyways, this site is still awesome, I'll ask people for help on the forums like Ben or something.

One definition of oekaki is an honorable term for "artist" or "painter". If I post an oekaki, it would be posting an image?

MMF2 is still Clickteam, so Clickteam for life! It was IMSI for some of the earlier versions I recall.

Rumor has it DC Points will be exchangeable for food stamps in the upcoming year

The oekaki is a built in tool; you can draw and post an image without leaving your browser. And its kind of a shame about the tutorials- I remember seeing a deal of them and they were very helpful, so if you still want to find them, your best bet is to simply copy/paste the name of the download into google and pray. For example, if you want the RPG engine by Phizzy;

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=phizzy+rpg+engine&btnG=Google+Search

-The top results are mostly TDC links, but if you do a little searching, you can often find click games hidden on weird of foreign language servers. I see some of my own games managed to crawl onto freeware sites without my knowledge, but I get back at them by linking my download mirrors directly to the people ninja'ing my games, to eat up their bandwitch instead

Food stamps? Hooray!

I was just testing out the power of oekaki. Wow, its really fun. Drawing on MS Paint... took about a minute to do. Good thing about it is that I could use it as an excuse for being a bad artist. Not my drawing program of choice.

Seems like ekaki pictures are stored somewhere on this forum. I looked at the digital works. Not much ekaki there.

Thanks Pixel, so there's an alternate way for looking up tutorials. I'll just research what I could find here onto google. Off to Google!
