Lol! That actually looks really cool I personally hate top downs... so I don't think I'll be playing it - although I think you'll get a lot of commendation on creating such a fresh game

Wow, this looks much better than I first thought - and I was already looking forward to it. It appears to play like a grid-based Phantom Hourglass in terms of movement and basic combat. How much more of the game do you still have to make?

overall, its probably 80-90% finished

levelwise, about 50%. But the engine was the biggy

That's come on leaps and bounds since that beta you handed out. Some nifty looking things in there, especially that torch effect.

Yeah, people kept complimenting the torch effect, but seriously it took me 10 minutes in a single sitting, and I wasn't even going to put it in at all. Its just a simple raycasting at X angles and testing for line of sight >.< It just happens that every single tile on a 9x9 grid perfectly correlates to whatever angle per check.

That does look really sweet.
It would be nice to get someone to make new graphics for it though.

Yeah Im no great shakes at graphics. But then again, when everythings 24x24 pixels, you don't have alot of room for looking nice.
