Hello, all! I'm new around here and was just wondering if there was a good source for "standard" game elements such as dice or playing cards? It seems a shame to have to re-invent the wheel, so to speak...

The Windows solitaire cards are stored inside its executable, you could extract them with something like Resource Hacker.
