Ah... So that's what the admin gives up for donations?
15Eu of my'n... And I see that sources are used to make people feel bad of themselves... Really.

Since I always jelous others, I'm gonna use some hidden psychological ways to bring people gain more warnings... I'll just secretly use a way to cause flames by not starting it... Let's say... Coming up with a really innocent subject and secretly manipulate it to make people fall in my trap!

Hehehehe... Did you know that often the real cause for flames or a cause for ban/warning is hidden? If not, it can be now...

Take this more as a bitter criticism of my'n... I'm not plan to humiliate myself here by gaining warnings.

Can't belive that 15EU of my'n went for they gain control over us and use more primitive penalty systems... Just disgusting.

Also, Know that I often use donation method, secretly gain control over people, and their ideologies also as their sysyems!

Be sure that I have never had any good intention doing something that may be considered benifitial,

Also as I guessed that this could be happenning:
Discover that the people I donate them, made this service feel big-brother's like.

I'm disgusted.

Well, it's better than it was (a warning system disguised as a reputation system), but yeah. I expressed similar concerns in the last thread, which was locked because there was nothing else to say apparently.
General consensus was that it's unnecessary, so I guess all we can do is hope that it's used relative to the actual need, which is fuck-all.

I'd like to say I'm happy whenever features are added... but yeah, mixed feelings at best.

Hey, I just noticed the rep thread has been unlocked. Madness.

Only part from a dcmail i wrote to nastyman but worth readin for all:

Hey nman, whats up. Flava has actually been adding stuff for the site by himself for nada. All the donations are put to hosting we all do this for free.

Thing is the rep/warning system is a new feature in progress, we dont really have a testing ground so everything is put in the site right away as we go a long.

The post you created where you are bassicly stomping the system into the ground was a bit harsh in my opinion, i would have loved for you to give some constructive feedback on either how to improve it or maybe some new ideas on how to stop the recent flood of people going a bit nuts really.

What i was thinking is to take the warning/rep system out of the public eye and put it on everyone's own user page. When in the event a warning is issued the user would get a dc mail with an explanation on why but it would only show on his own page. After 3 warnings the user would get a ban. Its better then just ban someone right off the bat this way like its done now. Thats true right?

Since we are doing this for free in our own limited spare time its not really a morale booster. And i'm dissapointed that we are not all in this together and try to make a better site. Again we the admins are not trying to restrict anyone we have many exciting features in the pipeline but we need you guys to help us by giving us contrstructive and helpfuk feedback whenever we try something out.
------------

End of the mail and something new:

I do think a warning/rep system should be put into place replacing the currenlt -1 strike and you are out- ban rule we have going right now. Other then this there are some really cool things headed for the dc and i'll make a news post about it later.

But give us your constructive comments we are here to make a better site not to keep you all in a box. thankies,

Just as a note, the warning system put in place a day or so ago will be gone - but a new system will be replacing it (one that I have planned out a bit more, hope that's okay Radix ). You'll only be able to view your own warnings and nobody elses, and it won't be displayed on the forum (and you'll be alerted whenever you receive a warning, and why you received it).

So it's not gone for good - but yeh, the old system wasn't exactly perfect so thanks to those who pointed it out nicely and gave constructive criticism.

That sounds better.

So, in the spirit of multiple warnings before ban, could you unban my account now? All this banning is making me consider completely giving up on faggy easy development software, which is rude since I think I still have THINGS to OFFER the COMMUNITY.

It's good to see you're adding new features guys. I'd like to see something that would encourage more reviews. Like a smaller minimum character limit.

1, Phizzy often helps people in the Code-It
2, Phizzy often makes tutorials and example files for download
3, end of the list.

You remind me of the warden off Dad's Army you do Silver - going around spoiling everyone's fun and generally being a sour bastard.

On another note, I might start reviewing a lot of games now, WCB style, seen as it's summer and there's not a single job in Rochdale.

(one that I have planned out a bit more, hope that's okay Radix )

I don't have a problem with warning systems per se, I just didn't like the way this one was done. They can be a good thing if implemented the right way and used appropriately.
