I want an object to "bounce" when pressing down the space bar. I've doen this before and it worked - like it should do. But this time it refuses to acknowlege it at all. I've tried it in TGF and MMF2... Can you think of a reason it may not be working? It's the only even I have other than the background collisions one. Using shift/button 1 works...

Why would you want something to bounce when pressing the spacebar? What type of movement are you using?

It probably needs to bounce off something first.

That's not how the "bounce" function works. I also have a feeling that you'd be much better off making a custom movement.

I suck at custom... I always figured that bounce option would mean "bounce" but in the past it never worked like that... I'n fact I think I have some old projects somewhere I'll go have a look see...

Edit: Hmm ok. It seems that I was using a very strange work around with the bounce function before... That explains it. Meh.

Bounce makes the object reverse its direction once it collides with something.

I think it tries to test the normal of whatever it's colliding with and reverses around that.
