What good is it for doing games made with TGF/2 or MMF/2?
Cause each build is self contained right?
I can see it being useful for games and applications made for others stuff.

TGF and MMF are designed to easily be self contained, however you don't NEED them to be that way. In fact, if you want to improve final game file size, and make your game easily patched in the future, especially for expansion packs, it's highly recommended that you learn how to make your content excluded from the EXE.

If you're worried about people screwing around with it, you can always encrypt it, then decrypt it when you need it, using blowfish.
